HURLING- SENIOR INFANTS

The excitement was palpable on Monday morning as our senior infants donned their hurling helmets and headed for the Astro. Hurleys in hand and smiles on faces greeted the 10 Kilmacud Crokes coaches. The boys had a great learning experience and played several games while working on their fundamental movement skills. Much to the delight of Mrs. Regan, our sports co-ordinator, the future of Hollypark hurling looks bright. The boys have a chance to do it all again for the next 6 weeks. Thanks to past pupils, Sean O' Regain and Ronan Mc Namara (Colaiste Eoin) for coaching our young boys.

CUMANN NA MBUNSCOL- FOOTBALL

It has been a great week so far for our amazing school football teams. Both our Junior A and B teams had convincing wins on Tuesday evening against St. Mary's, Rathfarnham and Divine Word NS. On Wednesday evening, our Senior A team will play St. Michael's, Ballsbridge in Meadowvale. The winner of this match will top the group and play in the quarter-final next week. Best of luck boys. On Thursday, it is the turn of our Senior B team. They will play our local rival, St. Brigid's, Foxrock and hopefully make it 3 wins from 3!
Thank you to the team of teachers who give up their free time daily to coach and attend matches. We are deeply appreciative of your efforts.
