It is with great pleasure that I greet you as the new Principal of St. Patrick’s BNS, Hollypark and welcome you to what I’m sure will be a busy and exciting year ahead. I have spent the past 14 years as a classroom teacher in Hollypark and have taught at almost every class level, from Junior Infants to Sixth, during my time here. It is with great pride that I take on the role of Principal and I very much look forward to continuing the strong culture of teaching and learning that we have created here Hollypark.

I would like to acknowledge the fantastic work that my predecessor, Mrs. Kelly, has accomplished and I wish her the very best in her retirement. Mrs. Kelly has set very high standards across all areas of the school and leaves a great legacy.

My foremost aim as Principal is to provide a safe, happy and stimulating environment in which your child can achieve high standards of knowledge and skills in every area of the curriculum. I recognise the individual needs of all children and along with our very committed and experienced staff, we will work in partnership with you towards the holistic development of your child.

I look forward to getting to know you all over the coming weeks and months and forging a positive relationship with all boys in the school.

Beir bua agus beannacht,

Le mórmheas,
