Triple Crown Magic Hits Our School with Andrew Goodman
Our school community was honoured to welcome Andrew Goodman, Irish international coach, part of the British & Irish Lions coaching setup & Hollypark parent to Max and Quin, for a truly memorable visit just before the holidays. Bringing the Triple Crown with him, Andrew created an atmosphere that was nothing short of electric. Pupils and staff alike were inspired by the opportunity to see such a prestigious piece of silverware up close, a symbol of excellence in Irish rugby and a moment of real pride for everyone present.
Andrew generously gave his time to speak with all classes, engaging students with insight, humour and honesty. He answered a wide range of thoughtful questions, from the importance of fitness and preparation, to his experiences within Irish rugby and what it truly feels like to achieve success at the highest level. His openness and passion left a lasting impression on our pupils, many of whom will carry that inspiration forward in their own sporting and personal journeys. We extend our sincere thanks to Andrew for his visit and wish him every success and continued achievement in the years ahead.

We Rocked our Colourful Socks!
Our school community truly embraced the spirit of inclusion and celebration as we marked our colourful socks day in support of Down Syndrome Ireland. From the moment pupils arrived to music at the gate, there was a fantastic sense of energy and togetherness that set the tone for a very special day.
A huge thank you to Tayib and Billy, who kept the atmosphere lively on the microphones, and to Ethan and his friends, who did a wonderful job leading the bucket collection throughout the school. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our families and staff, we raised a fantastic €750 for this very deserving charity, which does so much to support children and families across the country. We are very proud of the effort shown by everyone and sincerely thank our entire school community for getting involved and making such a positive difference.
COMMUNION AND CONFIRMATION
Mass for First Communion classes will be on Sunday morning, 19th April at 10 am.
Mass for confirmation classes will be on Saturday, 18th April at 6pm
HURLING SEASON
Best of luck to our junior and senior hurlers who begin their competitive matches this month. Thank you to Mrs. Regan, Ms. O' Farrell, Mr. Farragher, Ms. Dunne, Ms. Reynolds, Ms. Cryan, Ms. Harkin and Ms. Grennan for giving up their free time and taking the teams.
BOARD OF MANAGEMENT
We extend our warmest congratulations to Nick Polley on being elected to our Board of Management. This is a significant and valued role within our school community, and we wish Nick every success in the years ahead.
The Board of Management is responsible for the governance and overall management of the school, ensuring that it is run effectively and in line with Department of Education guidelines. It’s important to note that while the parents' representative brings a parent perspective, they do not act on behalf of individual complaints or issues. Instead, they work as part of the Board to act in the best interests of the school as a whole.
We would also like to sincerely thank all those who put themselves forward for nomination, demonstrating such commitment to our school, as well as everyone who took the time to vote. Your engagement is greatly appreciated and is a vital part of our strong school community.
STAFF IN-SERVICE May 13th
A reminder, School is closed on May 13th to facilitate staff in-service training on the new Primary Curriculum Framework. Please inform minders, grandparents, and after-school care, etc.
