Celebrating 60 Years of Hollypark BNS
This year marks a very special milestone in our school’s history as Hollypark BNS celebrates 60 years of education, growth and community spirit. For six decades, our school has been a place where learning, friendship and values have flourished, and where generations of pupils have begun their journeys.
To celebrate this wonderful occasion, we have some special events planned throughout the year. Our celebrations will begin with a Commemorative Mass on March 26th @ 11.00 am in Foxrock Church, and all members of our school community — past and present — are warmly welcome to attend.
As part of our anniversary celebrations, we are inviting past pupils, parents and former staff members to share old photographs, memories, stories or footage that capture moments from throughout the school’s history. We are currently creating a unique interactive timeline that will chart Hollypark’s journey from its very first day right up to the present. This will become a special feature in our school for decades to come.
If you — or someone you know — might have materials or memories to share, we would be truly grateful if you could spread the word. Every contribution, big or small, will help us tell the story of our school’s rich and proud history.

STARS OF THE FUTURE
Huge congratulations to James (Mr. Lineen’s 2nd Class) on his fantastic 1st-place finish at the Newpark Festival piano competition! Held in the Carnegie Library, the event was adjudicated by Dr. Alex Bernstein of the Royal Irish Academy of Music, who noted the exceptionally high standard of performance. James is currently a very busy musician, preparing for his Grade 4 piano exam while also performing with both the RIAM Junior Choir and the RIAM Recorder Ensemble. Well done, James!

A huge congratulations to Charlie, who recently achieved his Kung Fu Green Belt. This is a fantastic milestone that reflects his hard work, discipline, and dedication to his training. It’s inspiring to see such focus and commitment. Keep up the great work, Charlie!
