Celebrating 60 Years of Hollypark BNS
This year marks a very special milestone in our school’s history as Hollypark BNS celebrates 60 years of education, growth and community spirit. For six decades, our school has been a place where learning, friendship and values have flourished, and where generations of pupils have begun their journeys.
To celebrate this wonderful occasion, we have some special events planned throughout the year. Our celebrations will begin with a Commemorative Mass on March 26th @ 11.00 am in Foxrock Church, and all members of our school community — past and present — are warmly welcome to attend.
As part of our anniversary celebrations, we are inviting past pupils, parents and former staff members to share old photographs, memories, stories or footage that capture moments from throughout the school’s history. We are currently creating a unique interactive timeline that will chart Hollypark’s journey from its very first day right up to the present. This will become a special feature in our school for decades to come.
If you — or someone you know — might have materials or memories to share, we would be truly grateful if you could spread the word. Every contribution, big or small, will help us tell the story of our school’s rich and proud history.

MID-TERM BREAK
A reminder, school is closed this Thursday, 19th and Friday, 20th, for mid-term break. Please inform minders, After School faciliites, grandparents etc.
Thank You for Supporting our Cake Sale and Raffle!
The Parents' Association would like to extend a huge Thank You to everyone who supported our Valentine's Cake Sale and Raffle last Friday. Your generosity and kindness made this event another great success! Whether you baked, bought, donated, or purchased raffle tickets, we are so grateful. A very special thank you also goes to the many Mums, Dads and Grandparents who kindly volunteered their time and helped out throughout the morning. We raised a total of €6,300, which is incredible! Some photos from the morning are below, along with the list of many lucky raffle prize winners. Congratulations boys!

BALANCE BIKE SKILLS IN SENIOR INFANTS
Ms. Ryan’s class have been making fantastic progress developing their balance bike skills, showing great determination, coordination and confidence with each session. This wonderful initiative, delivered in conjunction with DLR Sports Partnership, provides pupils with the opportunity to build fundamental movement skills in a fun, supportive and encouraging environment. At Hollypark BNS, we are deeply committed to inclusion and to supporting the needs of all children, and it is fantastic to see every pupil participating, improving and enjoying the experience. The enthusiasm, smiles and growing confidence on display have made this programme a real highlight of the week.

ENGINEERS' WEEK
This week, we are celebrating Engineers' Week. The school is buzzing with classes taking part in everything related to engineering. The boys are learning about the various types of engineers and all that they do in the world around us.
We are very lucky in Hollypark to have wonderful parents and this week, the boys are thoroughly enjoying visits from some engineers. Thank you to Ms. Hynes for again leading a magnificent Engineers' Week in our school. Please see the photos below.

Adam with his Dad, Saeed. Saeed gave a fantastic presentation on “Invisible Things That
Engineers Work With” to all the boys in Second Class!

Rían and his Dad, Shane. Shane gave a wonderful talk to Ms. Costello's second-class boys on Microsoft, Minecraft and using AI to resolve glitches!
Congratulations to Our Stars of the Week!
A huge congratulations to two of our wonderful pupils who have achieved fantastic milestones. Firstly, well done to Noah, who had the unforgettable experience of being a mascot for his favourite team, Wrexham A.F.C. Inspired by his exciting trip to Wales, Noah has returned even more determined and motivated, training harder than ever for his Granada team, a brilliant example of enthusiasm and dedication!
Secondly, congratulations to Cilín from Senior Infants, who proudly completed his very first Readathon. This is a wonderful achievement and a fantastic step in his reading journey.
We are so proud of both boys, keep shining and inspiring others!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY
This week is a very special one for these great boys: Adam Zidan, Antoni Stafijowski, Tobias Magee, Alex Byrne, Zaim Rajput, Toby Conroy, Dylan O'Herlihy, Luke Mahon, & Archie Gawthorpe.
We hope you have a wonderful celebration boys!
