Sensory Garden Project – Volunteers & Tools Needed. Saturday, 10th May (Phase 1)

We’re excited to begin creating a beautiful new garden space for all of the boys at school to enjoy and would love your help on Saturday, 10th May. Many thanks to all who have volunteered so far. Please see the details below.  

The first phase includes building a sensory pathway with ten different textures—bark chips, gravel, and stepping stones—under a leafy canopy, creating an immersive exploration tunnel for all the boys.

We’ll also:

* Resurface existing paths

* Lay a new base for the outdoor classroom

* Build paths to the geodome and a new quiet area

* Add flower beds around the geodome

We need volunteers and the following tools:

* Rubber mallets

* Concrete bucket & mixer

* Wheelbarrows

* Spirit level

* Spades

* Flat rakes

* Cutting knives

* Loppers

* Gardening gloves

We will start at 10 a.m. and aim to be finished by 2 p.m. We would really appreciate it if you could lend a hand, even for just an hour.  
The second phase, including the dry riverbed and Hollypark Camp, will begin in September.
