CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK
We are celebrating Grandparents Day today. We welcomed over 300 grandparents to the school today and it was amazing. Thank you for attending! Thank you to our wonderful staff who opened their doors and welcomed all grandparents into their classrooms. Boys and grandparents had a fabulous Hollypark experience. A special thank you to our Student Council and musical performers who proudly showed off their talents and our lovely school!

The Laudate Festival will take place on Wednesday, 29th January (7:00 pm-8:15 pm) in the Church of St Therese, Mount Merrion.
All parents and families are welcome to attend.
PARENT-TEACHER MEETINGS
We are really looking forward to welcoming you to the school at the Parent -Teacher Meetings. We respectfully ask that you do not bring any children to the school at the time of your meeting. Meetings will last 10 minutes. We hope you enjoy visiting your child's classroom and the school.
January 29th & 30th, the school will close @ 2.15 pm to facilitate parent-teacher meetings. The collection time for the 1st-6th class is 2.15 pm.
CUALA ABÚ!
Congratulations to Cuala on their All-Ireland win last weekend. Mrs. O'Callaghan and her three boys, Con, Niall, and Eoin, have been lined up to bring the cup to Hollypark. The Cuala jerseys were out in force in the school last Monday. Well done to all involved; enjoy the celebrations!
HOLLYPARK BNS TENNIS TEAM
Dear Parents,
We are opening tennis trials for boys in the 5th and 6th classes. These trials are offered to boys with experience in local clubs and who have participated in leagues or tournaments.
The trials will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, January 28th and Thursda,y January 30th. Email hollyparktennis2025@gmail.com if your son is interested. Boys will take part in one day only. If your son is selected note that parental support is essential for transportation and supervision during matches and teams will need to be prepared to travel a distance.
Texaco Art Competition
Our Boys are invited to participate in the 71st Annual Texaco Art Competition. Completed entries can be posted to:

(Please note that entries completed at home are to be submitted to the Texaco Art Competition by the child’s parent(s)/guardian(s) and are not to be returned to school.)
Entries to the competition can be about anything that interests you. Your entry should not be smaller than A4 (29.7cm x 21.0cm) or larger than A2 (59.4cm x 42.0cm) before it is mounted, which is optional.
Please submit your artwork in flat format only; it should not be rolled, folded, or framed.

ENGINEERS WEEK
Last year, Engineers Week was a huge success. One highlight was the visitors who came in to talk to the boys about their lives as engineers.
To avoid a clash with Seachtain na Gaeilge in early March, we will celebrate Engineers Week at the end of February (24 - 28 Feb). If you would like to speak to the boys about life as an engineer, we would love to hear from you. Please email Ms. Hynes at stemathollypark@gmail.com outlining the age group you would like to speak to and a little about the topic you would like to talk about. We look forward to welcoming you and enlightening our budding engineers!

I have run a small after-school club in Holly Park for the last six years.
I collect from the school. We have outdoor activities, playgrounds, picnics, lunch, and homework in my house. I drop all students home at 5:30 pm.
