SPRING CLEAN UP
Last Saturday was a day to remember forever. Thank you very much to our incredible helpers, young and old! The community spirit and positive attitude shown by all our volunteers was a joy to behold. Thankfully, the weather behaved and lent itself to a day of hard work and graft. Some very tired bodies trudged home after a day of digging, weeding, raking, clearing and planting. We hope you are enjoying looking at the fruits of our labour! Thank you to the PA who were on hand once again serving well deserved snacks. Please see a collection of our photographs attached.
STARS OF THE FUTURE
Well done to Cillian, 1st class, for showing off his incredible lantern. Cillian loves art and he was very proud of this piece. Well done Cillian, keep up the great work.
Well done to our pupils Lauri, Isaac, Kit, Logan and Cameron who successfully passed their Taekwondo Belt Grading last Saturday. Each boy will now move on to the next level. The boys train with Irish Taekwondo Tigers.
Congratulations also to Andrew and Cormac, 2nd class, for their prize winning performances in the Speech and Drama Feis held last weekend. Hollypark is awash with so many talented pupils.
Cillian, 3rd class, is a great poet. Attached is a picture of Cillian and his great poem on the Rainforest. Well done to all our Stars of the Future!
All boys are pictured below.

SPORTING SUCCESS
There was plenty more sporting success to celebrate this week. Our tennis teams continue to go from strength to strength. Team 1 had a marvellous win over Willow Park last week. Team 2 were narrowly defeated by Clontarf in very difficult weather conditions. Thank you to our parent volunteers for taking the teams.
Our soccer team continues to rack up huge score lines. Another 9-0 win this week had our boys smiling at the final whistle. A stern test awaits next week against Ballyroan BNS. Thank you to Mr. Mc Evoy and Mr. Murphy for taking the teams.
Hollypark BNS rugby team made history last Saturday. Yes, you read that correctly, rugby team! Trained by parents Paul O' Grady, Steve Pattison and teacher Mr. O ' Brien, the boys took to the field in the Willow Park Rugby Festival. Winning 4 games and losing 2, it was a very successful outing for our boys. I had a phone call from another school yesterday complimenting our boy's manners, fair play, teamwork and their rugby skills. Well done boys, we are very proud of you. Thank you to all involved.
WORLD AUTISM DAY
Celebrate World Autism Day on Sunday April 2nd. There is a walk organised at Belmont Demesne, Co. Wicklow. Details are in the poster attached.
