CHRISTMAS IS STARTING EARLY!
Toy Show Goodie Boxes
The Toy Show Goodie Boxes are ready. The boxes are packed full of festive treats, a novelty gift, an activity booklet and even something to put away for Christmas Eve! The boxes are priced at €7 each and are a joint fundraiser for our annual Santa Day and Make A Wish Ireland. At least 20% of the proceeds raised will be donated to Make A Wish Ireland, a wonderful charity that makes dreams come true for terminally ill children.
The boxes are on sale via Aladdin.
BEAUTIFUL ART ON DISPLAY!
We have beautiful artwork on display throughout the school. Boys are really showing off their many talents. The image below is from Mr. Cunnane’s Junior Infants.
STARS OF THE FUTURE
World Diabetes Day
Archie in 2nd class has Type 1 Diabetes. Last week, to celebrate World Diabetes Day, he spoke to the boys in his class all about diabetes - how to take care of yourself, the role insulin plays and some famous people who have diabetes (e.g. Theresa May, Nacho the football player, Tom Hanks). He also showed the boys how he scans his blood sugars.
We are so proud of Archie’s mature outlook and we thank him for teaching us about diabetes.
Congratulations to Dexter Tubritt in 1st class who grew this enormous sunflower. Thank you to Mrs. Pereria who has been helping to plant sunflowers with boys in Hollypark for many years. Dexter showed real care, love and attention to this sunflower and the results are a sight to behold!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOYS!
This week is a special week for these wonderful boys:
Oscar Duggan Geary, Cillian Rooney, Alfie Lynch, Oliver Barry, William Doran and Michael Reddin
We hope you have a lovely week boys!

HELPING TO KEEP EACH OTHER SAFE
Well done to all involved who continue to keep our school community safe. Please remember these points during drop off and collection times:
Please wear face coverings in and around the school campus during drop off and collection.
Observe social distancing (2 metres) from other parents and boys.
After you have dropped off or collected your child, please do not linger on the campus.
If boys are not feeling well, please keep them at home from school.
Thank you for your continued co-operation.
MINDING YOUR WELLBEING

GREEN SCHOOLS
A huge thank you to our team of Green School volunteers from 3rd class, under the guidance of green fingers Mrs. Quealy, for their work planting daffodils and bluebells around the school. We look forward to the lovely colourful flowers blooming in the springtime!
