HALLOWEEN DRESS UP!

As the Government guidelines advise us that Halloween trick or treating is not permitted, Hollypark Boys’ School invite all our boys to dress up to celebrate Halloween in school. On Friday 23rd, boys can wear their costumes to school. More details on this will follow and will be emailed to all parents on Friday 16th October.

CONTACT WITH TEACHER

We have added a contact section to our website ww.hollyparkbns.ie. Click ‘contact’ in the top right-hand corner and a drop-down menu of teachers will appear. For class related issues and absences, please contact your son’s teacher. The teacher will endeavour to respond to your query in a timely manner.

PE Tracksuits

PE tracksuits should be worn on PE days. It is important in the current climate that these tracksuits are washed regularly. Uniforms should be worn on days when PE is not part of the timetable.

Monthly Focus

The focus on manners, courtesy and respect is continuing at pace. Congratulations must be extended to all the boys who continue to demonstrate wonderful eye contact, beautiful manners, saying please and thank you to their teachers and adhering to the school rules. Well done boys - these practices will benefit you for the rest of your life. Keep up the great work.

Admissions to Hollypark for 2021-2022

Enrolment is now open on our website www.hollyparkbns.ie

NEW BIKE RACKS

It is wonderful to see so many boys cycling and scooting to school. Boys are really making an effort to wear protective gear, including helmets and hi-viz jackets. We have applied to the council for new bike racks which will hopefully be delivered to the school after Halloween.

Stars of the Future

This week’s stars of the future section is a special note to all the boys in Hollypark Boys’ School. For the past number of months, you have been asked to sacrifice and forgo many occasions and events. The Government and Public Health are asking boys not to partake in door to door trick or treating this year. For many this is the highlight of their year.  Once again, boys from Hollypark will come together for the greater good of the people of Ireland and sacrifice this occasion. I would like to thank the boys for their understanding, their resilience and their maturity and we hope that as a country, we have this virus under control in time for Christmas.

Happy Birthday Boys

This week is a special week for these wonderful boys:

Happy birthday boys! We hope you have a lovely celebration!
