On Tuesday morning (October the 5th ) a small group of boys from 4th to 6th, headed off on a short journey to the local firestation in Deansgrange.

We were given a very thorough tour of the station and we were very lucky to be shown two old emergency vehicles.

The first was a Dublin corporation Ambulance and the second was a Leyland fire engine from 1921

We were also given a tour of the modern fire trucks and shown the equipment that the fire crews carry on each call out.
